One Month Self Garbage

So far transgression, as aesthetic concept seduces me, I decided to collect, during one month, my personal garbage (tampons, the hair that remains in my brush, the skins and cut nails of the hands) and along with this organic garbage to join the garbage of my jewellery work (dust and shavings of silver and red acrylic).

This dichotomy garbage/luxury created a tension, perverting the direction that a priori would be of seduction, to give place to repulsion, to disgusting (in Kant’s sense). The Garbage Pin literally was incorporated by me, not only because I used it as jewel in my body, as because I was incorporating in it the garbage of my body. These materials that already were part of my plastic lexicon appear now in jewellery, searching for new a meaning and to give to another sense to the jewel. This proposal, more than a challenge, was a continuus of my personal research.
