The Garbage Pin became a contagion responsible for the viral spread of ideas.

Day 1: Nature

Our environmental resources need to be much more highly valued.

Day 2: Studio

Since mokume-kami (a material I created made of layers of laminated paper) is not a common material, there were many discussions and ideas about what was the material.  I use lead and gold to emphasize the alchemical nature of object making.

Day 3: Focus on a Time for a Change

Because of the USA’s continued military involvement in Iraq, these objects reflect my beliefs about the need for change.

Day 4: Subdivision Reflections

I hope that others will both literally and intellectually reflect on how this rapid housing development affects our environment.

Day 5:  Change

This is piece is about my recent divorce.  The mokume-gane is from our wedding bands.
