I’d just lost my keys when I found some others; wondering about the usefulness of such heavy metal objects, far away from their original function, from their context and without any visible instant value, I decided to take them with me. I went on imagining, for each one, some story, in what hands had they been used and in what doors could they slide.

Now whenever I lose my keys (something that happens more often than one could imagine), I visualize them in the pockets of someone that rebuilds their trail.
