True or false?

Tell true from false has become increasingly difficult. Leather, a material used since ancient times for the manufacturing of shoes and clothes, today has equivalent and fairly similar substitutes, due to the technological advances. Is preference for true leather only extravagance of the consumerist society we live in? Given the amount of wastage produced by the leather industry and the environmental impact associated to the manufacturing synthetics product, this artist thus defends a symbiosis between these resources. This option enables, on the one hand, the use of a raw material that is only 20% used and thus contributes to reduce the amount of animals killed. On the other hand, synthetic leather takes many generations to fuse in the environment. This is a difficult choice and the best answer is to achieve some balance between both solutions.
